Gyrolab® immunoassays to support vaccine development and production
Immunoassays are essential in vaccine development bioanalysis for the characterization of vaccine titer, purity, and potency, as well as immunogenic responses in both animals and humans. Samples for analysis vary greatly, with a wide range of analytes that include polysaccharides, proteins and peptides that must be measured in diverse matrices.
Plate-based immunoassays are the gold standard for many aspects of vaccine bioanalysis, however increasingly tight project timelines necessitate marked improvements in immunoassay performance and workflows.
In this Application Note, examples are presented demonstrating how Gyrolab systems have boosted the performance and workflow of vaccine R&D groups in diverse immunoassay applications from vaccine quantification and host cell protein (HCP) analysis in bioprocess steps to affinity determination of antibodies raised against antigens in early development.
